Art by Ali Abstracts are created as pen and ink drawings by Alice Best Jackson. The hand drawn originals are 8" x 10" and are sold online, in art galleries, and at art shows in the Seattle area.
For fabric designs, the artist prefers to use the mirror image to showcase the abstract quality of her designs and create a kaleidoscope effect. The original is scanned to create the same design in coordinating designer colors. "Original" refers to the original colors when drawn. “Full” shows the original in larger format; “Full Center" or "Full Mirror" designs are ideal for quilt panels. The “Small Mirror” kaleidoscope patterns feature the design in smaller format to allow for repeat pattens on fabric for smaller projects. (If a size is listed, it's approximate and is rounded down.)
Art by Ali Abstracts are purposely not named because the more you look at the design, the more images you will see. The original designs become conversation pieces in addition to being objects of art.
The artist uses the fabric on embroidery projects she creates and sells online and in boutiques and galleries. Her modern pop art style is perfect for quilt panels and abstract home decor.
