About Ali….her evolution from Attorney to Artist
Alice Best Jackson is a retired family law attorney and mediator ("recovering divorce lawyer"), and the creator of Imagery From Beyond Art by Ali, a method of automatic drawing used during private readings, Messages from Beyond® events, and featured in Art by Ali Abstracts, and Imagery From Beyond Coloring Book Series for Grownups Book 1 Book 2. An experienced Family Law attorney and certified mediator, Alice received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest professional level attainable based on her years of experience in Family Law and the endorsement by her colleagues in the areas of professional conduct, ethics and ability. She is licensed as an attorney in Florida and Colorado (now on retired inactive status), and has been admitted as a member of the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court
Following her graduation from the University of Miami Law School, Alice was hired by Janet Reno in 1986 and proudly served two years as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Alice opened her own law office in 1988, specialized in family law, and created a successful law practice in South Florida. She is a past member of the International Alliance of Holistic Lawyers and used holistic principles in dealing with her clients' cases. She found it more rewarding to work with people and assist them in solving their own problems, thus enabling them to regain control and power over their own lives without placing blame on anyone. Alice also served as vice-chair on the Florida Bar’s Ethics Committee, was on the board of directors of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and presided as a Miami-Dade County Civil Traffic Infraction Hearing Officer until her retirement in 1999.
Alice and her husband, Dennis Jackson, a psychic/medium, are co-authors of the book Together Again: Twin Souls Reunite in Love and Life, the true story of how they met and recognized each other from past lives. Their second book, Life is an Illusion: Loving Messages From Beyond will be completed and published in late 2021. Dennis and Alice relocated to the Seattle area in 1999 to be near family, and to experience their next great adventure! Dennis and Alice have appeared as featured guests on hundreds of radio and TV shows, in addition to hosting their own weekly Internet radio show, Messages from Beyond®. They traveled extensively from 1999 – 2016, doing special events and book signings all across the United States. In addition to radio and local TV interviews in each state they visited, their national TV appearances include 5 segments on NBC’s Access Hollywood, and on Discovery Channel’s Gold Rush: White Water 2, episode 11 - “Diving Deeper”.

In 1999, upon the publication of Together Again: Twin Souls Reunite in Love and Life, Alice made a major life decision to close her law office and retire from the active practice of law to follow her dream and travel full-time with her twin soul, Dennis. She has never regretted that decision, and the rest is history! Dennis and Alice traveled extensively from 1999 through 2016, while maintaining their home base in Washington state, where they now reside.
Intuitive Spirit Art Designs began in 2001 when Alice’s doodling morphed into abstract designs for the individual being read. Now called Imagery from Beyond — Art by Ali Abstracts, it is automatic drawing created during private readings and Messages from Beyond® events, and featured in Imagery From Beyond Coloring Book Series for Grownups. Alice began using automatic writing for her personal spiritual growth in 1982, and now receives messages via her own intuitive process, and offers her experience and guidance to others. Combining her own energy with that of Dennis, Alice serves as a listener and grounder of positive energy in the room. The messages in her drawings are her interpretation of the information coming through and are shared with each person as part of the reading process. Drawings are created during private readings, and for each person who receives readings at group events and TeleCircles.
Art by Ali Abstracts — Imagery From Beyond Mosaics
Alice’s unique abstract art is available as originals, and on a limited numbered edition of signed and numbered prints. Art by Ali Abstracts are featured on 16”x20” canvas, fabric by the yard, wrapping paper, wallpaper, home décor, tote bags, wrist wallets, coasters, playing cards, calendars, greeting cards, and other unique functional items personally created by Alice using her own fabric.
Each original drawing is hand drawn by Alice in pen and ink in bright primary colors, as black and white originals, and some are black and white with a touch of red. Most designs are given a number rather than a name because everyone sees different images in each design. The artist does not want to influence anyone to see only limited images. The finished art is scanned and made available in other colors that are used on fabric, wrapping paper, wallpaper and other home decor.
Alice’s art is continually evolving, and in 2021, her abstract art entered a new phase for surface pattern designs to be used on fabrics and other functional products displaying art. She’s excited about her newest venture as a surface pattern artist and will soon be blogging to keep you up to date on the latest designs and products.
